Announcing the 2018 Cotillion Ball, Saturday April 14th

We invite you to attend the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 5th Annual Scholarship Cotillion Ball, "Jewels of Distinction".

This signature fundraiser event provides an opportunity to recognize and provide scholarships to participants who exhibit qualities and characteristics consistent with the values of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc: Community Service, Leadership and Academic Excellence.  In addition, funds raised support the chapter's scholarship program which provides merit and need-based scholarships to local high schools students.

Cotillion is a series of classes to teach social etiquette, respect, and common morals to young ladies leading up to a débutante ball. It is a reference to a style of formal dance which originated in France in the 1700s to present debutantes. We are proud to have reinvented this custom with modern sensibilities, to broaden this experience into a journey of self-exploration for the students and families who participate.

You can support this event by:

  • Sign up as a participant! We are looking for Debutantes, Escorts, Jr. Debs/Escorts and Precious Pearls
  • Purchasing a $75 ticket to attend the Cotillion Ball on Saturday, April 14, 2018
